Gordon I. Federle, USAF Ret.
Richmond Hill- Gordon I. Federle, Lt. Col. USAF Ret., age 80, died Wednesday, April 26, 2006, at his home in Richmond Hill. A veteran of the United States Air Force during World War II, Korea and Viet Nam, Col. Federle was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and had been a resident of Richmond Hill since 1977. He was a member of Richmond Hill United Methodist Church, the Richmond Hill Lions Club, and the Military Officers Association of America. Col. Federle was preceded in death by his wife of forty-five years, Savannah native Ruth Annette Mullis.
Surviving are three brothers, Franklin W. Federle of Hamilton, Ohio, Leroy D. Federle and William C. federal, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Richard L. Federal of Wilmington, Ohio; his sister-in-law, Betty B. Mullis of Savannah; several nieces and nephews; and many wonderful and thoughtful friends and neighbors.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday at Fox & Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday in the Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to a favorite charity.
